The ARMORY Double-c sound moderator is very effective in suppressing the sound of a shot due to its complex and time-consuming design! Thanks to the large outer diameter - 50 mm, the volume of the sound moderator is increased, which positively affects the distribution of gases from the gunpowder explosion and the reduction of the sound of the shot. Structurally, the muffler consists of a main body with a unscrewable outer nut at the output and a centered and welded nut at the input. The outer nut is unscrewed with the key that is included in the delivery set. Inside the main body is the inner body.
At the beginning of the muffler there is a large expansion chamber in which the gunpowder burns out and the velocity of the gases is extinguished. Next, part of the gases is distributed between the inner case and the walls of the outer case. In the inner case there are 7 double cone-shaped inserts with a shelf with holes due to the special design of the inserts, the inner case is divided into 2 contours. That is, structurally, the muffler consists of only 3 circuits and 15 chambers for sound suppression and gas removal!
The ARMORY Double-c silent shooting device performs the function of a flame suppressor and completely removes the flash when fired!
Technical characteristics:
Armory Double-c silencers are available in calibers: 5.45/7.62/.223/.308
Available threads: M24x1.5, M14x1L, M15*1; 5/8-24; 1/2x28
It is recommended to use a silencer for firing single shots. Firing bursts of 2 cartridges with low intensity is allowed. The sound moderator, a device for silent shooting, is designed to improve the camouflage effect by moderating the sound and reducing the volume of the shot, thereby enabling the shooter to hide his position.
Armory silencers have proven themselves well when used in combat and practice shooting.
